Position Title: Licensed Security Officer
Location: Auburn, CA
Shifts Available:
Day Shift: 8 AM – 5 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and professional security officers to join our team at locations in Auburn. Ideal candidates will be proactive, possess strong communication skills, and act as visual and physical deterrents to crime. Experience in a medical or hospital environment is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a visible and physical deterrent to crime.
Observe and report suspicious or unusual incidents to the appropriate authorities.
Document all incidents with detailed written reports.
Check in and out with the appointed county point of contact for each shift.
Provide a detailed activity log for all worked hours.
Perform routine perimeter and safety checks of the grounds.
Engage with loitering individuals and maintain a safe and secure environment.
Use verbal skills to de-escalate confrontations calmly.
Respond quickly to disturbances and provide safe resolutions.
Support staff during confrontational situations.
Safeguard people and property, identifying and responding to safety issues.
Maintain high visibility and assist with routine inquiries from the public.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a hospital or medical environment is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to operate security apps and emergency equipment.
Knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
Detail-oriented with strong surveillance skills.
Valid CA Guard Card (required by state law).
Physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
