You will serve as anOPERATIONS SPECIALISTin the Joint Operations Center (JOC) Current Naval Operations Desk, Operations Directorate of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
GS-13:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following:
Monitoring and reporting on current combined and joint operations and exercises for a variety of combatant command operations;
Producing current operational briefings and summaries for senior military and civilian leaders having time-sensitive suspenses;
Briefing senior military and civilian leaders on operational issues, courses of actions, and recommended solutions;
Working as a member of a Current Operations Team during high operational tempo crisis and contingencies;
Planning, organizing, and leading others in monitoring the execution of current operations comprehensive studies or projects.
GS-12:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following:

Preparing accurate, technically sound verbal and written reports;
Briefing senior military and civilian leaders on operational issues, courses of actions, and recommended solutions;
Planning and organizing the execution of current operations comprehensive studies or projects.
