Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Duties
– Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
– Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
– Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
– Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations
– Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
– Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
– Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
– Provide assistance to people in need
Experience
– Prior experience in security-related roles is preferred
– Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus
– Certification in law enforcement or security procedures is advantageous
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment is beneficial
– Strong conflict management skills are essential
– Military experience preferred
– Understanding of loss prevention techniques would be beneficial
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.50 per hour
