“` Duties: – Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment – Protect property and assets by enforcing access control and following security procedures – Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activities – Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or security breaches, in a timely manner – Conduct investigations and write detailed incident reports as necessary – Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries or concerns – Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary Requirements: – High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in criminal justice or related field is a plus – Valid security officer license/certification as required by state regulations – First Aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred – Proven experience in loss prevention, surveillance, or law enforcement is highly desirable – Strong observation skills with the ability to identify potential security risks or suspicious activities – Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations with professionalism and diplomacy – Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
