We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Duties
Monitor assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security breaches.
Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security measures.
Provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies, example to call 911.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.
Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
Qualifications
Active Perc Card (Unarmed Security License)
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
Military experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
