**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Houseman and overnight security to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in floor care, industrial cleaning, and hospitality to maintain a clean and orderly environment for our guests.
**Duties:**
– Clean and tidy all areas of the hotel including lobbies, and common areas
– Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors
– Dust and sanitize furniture
– Safeguard the hotel during nighttime hours, doing rounds in the parking lot and making sure any unwanted guests leave the premises if they are causing trouble.
– Respond to all alerts and also give assistance to the front desk auditor.
– In the absence of a front desk auditor, this position is also going to do audit shift, checking in guests, assisting guests with any items they need.
– Follow security protocols set by the employer.
– Report any maintenance issues guests have during the night
– Removal of trash in the hallways and also outside in the parking lot, making sure the hotel is visibly clean for guests.
**Requirements:**
– Proven work experience as a Houseman, groundskeeper or similar role
– Proven work experienca as a overnight security guard.
– Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
– Physical stamina and mobility including ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items
– Flexibility to work in shifts. This job is a overnight position and we work weekends and holidays.
