General Summary
Responsible for providing broad-range support in all functional areas of the mobile patrol division and overnight onsite client site/guards. Works under general supervision of overnight assistant operations manager. Primary functions typically require exercising independent judgement. Does have direct reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence.
Patrolling assigned buildings, facilities, and perimeters on foot or by a patrol vehicle.
Maintain constant communication with clients and their employees by keeping all parties in the assigned area up to date on current policies and company rules.
Monitoring alarm systems and video surveillance systems when an assigned site is permitted.
Investigate and respond to suspicious activities and disturbances and inform the client and security management timely.
Locking buildings, businesses and other designated areas per the clients needs.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers if needed and according to SOP.
Must be proficient in de-escalating techniques, self-defense tactics, verbal judo, etc.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
Ensure the Security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises
Must be able to keep a positive attitude at all times while in uniform and on job sites.
Adhere to all company service and operating standards
Able to coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies during emergencies.
We provide the required Shirts for the uniforms. The employee will have to provide shoes and pants and any other equipment they would like to carry, which is allowed for the job sites
Pass a background check and drug screen.
The ability to stand for long periods, work in any weather, and sit, bend, and lift to 40 pounds, if not more, depends on the situation.
Minimum Requirements:
Clean driving record
Minimum 1+ years in security experience
High School Diploma
Must live in Denver metro area or be willing to relocate
Must possess strong communication/listening skills, speaking, reading, writing, and computer skills
Preferred Requirements:
Associate’s Degree
Mobile Patrol Experience
Guard card with armed endorsement
