The LaFayette Hotel is seeking a hospitable and vigilant Security Guard to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. We would expect the right individual in this role to:
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service oriented manner.
Keep a watchful eye on the premises through regular patrols to detect any suspicious activities.
Manage access to the hotel premises, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter appropriate areas.
Provide assistance and support to guests and staff, including responding promptly to their inquiries and emergencies.
Act swiftly and appropriately in case of emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or other security threats.
Document and report any security incidents, disturbances, or unusual activities in detailed reports for leadership review.
Maintain order during crowded events or situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
Valid Guard Card Required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Holidays
Overnight shift
Weekends only
