Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. Overnight watch. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the overall security of the premises.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Collaborate with law enforcement when required and provide detailed reports on incidents.
Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying theft or fraud attempts.
Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
