Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee our security operations and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel working overnight (6pm-6am). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strong work ethic, write good reports, and an ability to work well with others. Must have a valid Florida Security D License, Must speak English fluently, and Must be able to pass a Drug Test. This role requires proactive conflict management abilities and the capacity to respond effectively to emergencies.
Responsibilities
Supervise security personnel, ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures.
Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to maintain safety and security across the premises.
Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify potential security risks or breaches.
Train and mentor security staff on best practices in conflict management, first aid, and emergency response.
Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records of security activities.
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns.
Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency services when required.
Maintain knowledge of current security trends and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within security, law enforcement, or military settings.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the location of duties.
