We are currently seeking Full-Time and Part-Time qualified Armed Security professionals to join our on-site services team at one of our client’s Youngstown-area based Medical Cannabis Dispensaries.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
– On-site facility security includes duties to monitor and control employee and authorized visitor access onto the property,
– Monitor various security technologies, including Surveillance (Enterprise level CCTV systems), Intrusion Detection (Alarm systems), and Intrusion Prevention (High-Level and Sophisticated Access Control systems).
– Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols,
– Respond to and handle security incidents, including but not limited to: unauthorized entry (trespass) attempts, workplace violence and threats to persons or company property,
– Act as a liaison to local authorities during emergencies

Required Qualifications
– Prior experience in armed security. Prior law enforcement or military service is preferred.
– Prior experience in customer service or administrative/executive assistance,
– Must meet the minimum requirements set forth by the Ohio Private Investigator Security Guard Services (PISGS),
– Must meet employee licensing requirements set forth by the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Cannabis Control (DCC)
– High School Diploma or GED,
– Able to pass a FBI/BCI background check,
– Able to pass a medical screen and drug test,
– Possess a valid PISGS firearms certification, or able to obtain prior to start date,
– Meet minimum fitness standards as stated by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission,
– Excellent customer service skills,
– Able to remain calm while handling stressful situations,
– Basic knowledge of technology (CCTV monitoring, Microsoft Office suite, standard logging applications and scheduling and time-clock applications),
– Respectfully respond to requests of management and our clients,
– Must be 21 years of age or older,
Preferred qualifications:
– 3+ years of experience in private or public security, law enforcement, or other government security agencies, or,
– Prior military experience
Schedule Availability
– The applicant must have weekend availability.
– Part-Time hours will range from approximately 10-20 hours, Full-Time will range from 34-50 hours.

Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
