Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Conduct regular inspections of premises, including surveillance systems such as CCTV.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
Document incidents, accidents, and any unusual occurrences in detailed reports.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering CPR or first aid when required.
Participate in ongoing training related to loss prevention, conflict management, and surveillance techniques.
Skills
Proficient in conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment for monitoring activities.
Experience or certification in law enforcement is highly desirable.
Valid certification in CPR and first aid is preferred.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft or damage.
A background in military service can be an asset for discipline and situational awareness.
