Seeking Part-Time weekend Security Officers
Are you looking for a part time job to make extra cash? Level One is seeking Unarmed Security Guards for a variety of locations in the Torrance, Gardena and other Los Angeles County cities near . Potential employees must have a current CA Guard Card and will be on call for available shifts and special events. During interviews, potential employees will be asked to bring all credentials and availability, along with a questionnaire regarding company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Must have the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
Must be able to write reports
Must be able to multitask
Must be punctual
Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
Capably utilize scheduling software to produce reports (such as Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective business management
Must be versatile and able to pivot in new directions when post details are updated
Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
Duties
Monitor surveillance equipment
Respond to emergencies and alarms promptly
Enforce property regulations and safety precautions
Conduct security checks and inspections
Provide a visible presence to prevent illegal actions
Complete detailed reports on incidents and observations
Interaction with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public
Enforce Contract Standards
Enforces Level One Protection’s policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos
Job Types:
Part-Time:
Saturday & Sunday 1:00pm-9:30pm
Available to pick up shifts as needed
Salary:
$18- $19 per hour
