Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for an educational campus.
Responsibilities:
– Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
– Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Create reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
– Warn violators of rule infractions and apprehend or evict violators if necessary
– Escort individuals to specified locations when required
Skills:
– Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and surveillance techniques
– Strong conflict management skills
– Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
– Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
– Possession of relevant security certificates or willingness to obtain them
– Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
– Background in law enforcement is a plus
