GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION
Perform security duties on a part-time basis, including enforcing University rules and regulations to protect the lives of students, faculty, staff, invited visitors, and USF property within the University community. The position reports directly to the Director of Campus Safety or designee.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of responsible work experience in a similar field
Ability to pass a University background check
Demonstrated strong work ethic and independent thinking while following procedures
Attention to detail and accuracy
Work history of and ability to work independently and follow procedures
Adherence to and understanding of the Christian mission of the University of Sioux Falls
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a crisis or fast-paced environment
Demonstrated success working as a part of a team
Adherence to and understanding of the Christian mission of the University of Sioux Falls
Valid and current driver’s license
Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the workday on a daily basis
Ability to use stairs and ladders regularly
Ability to work effectively on feet/standing/walking all-day
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and periodic holidays
