Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all individuals on site.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, and access points to identify potential security risks.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations as required.
Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations effectively.
Requirements
Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
A valid security guard license or certificate may be required based on local regulations.
Military experience is a plus but not mandatory.
