We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in various situations. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in preventing incidents and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all individuals on site.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security protocols are followed.
Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences for record-keeping purposes.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide assistance during investigations as required.
Provide first aid or CPR assistance in emergency situations as needed.
Skills
Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and their operation is essential.
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients, employees, and visitors.
