Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a strong presence, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Armed Security Officer will work closely with law enforcement and other security personnel to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing immediate assistance as needed.
Conduct thorough inspections of premises, ensuring all security measures are in place.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports on any incidents.
Provide first aid and CPR as required in emergency situations.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations.
Experience
Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of conflict management strategies.
Ability to work independently while remaining vigilant and observant at all times.
Military experience or training may be beneficial but is not required.
