Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team part time providing service for a lounge in the Yonkers area.
Significant experience is required and necessary.
Personal transportation is preferred and highly considered.
The hours of operation is 10 pm to 2 am Fridays and Saturdays ONLY.
We are looking for a security guard with a clean and neat professional appearance. All black attire only. No du-rags or hoodies and must have the word “Security” affixed to t shirt/ sweater.
**ALL applicants must upload photo of their guard card ( if you fail to upload proof of your VALID guard card you will not be considered for an interview) All interviews will be conducted via video call using INDEEDS video option**

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets. Your role will involve monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling the premises, and responding to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activity or potential security breaches
– Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies, such as disturbances, accidents, or medical emergencies
– Enforce access control procedures by verifying the identification of individuals entering the premises
– Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities, including incident reports and daily activity logs
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns or investigate incidents
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries or concerns in a professional manner
– Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to security protocols
– Conduct regular inspections of fire safety equipment and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
Experience:
– Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of conflict management techniques and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment is a plus
– CPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications are desirable
– Experience in loss prevention or risk management is beneficial
