Part-time Security Officer on Johns Island Jobs in United States at Trident Security Services,Inc
JOB SUMMARY: The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Indium Corporation’s premises, specifically the site to which they are assigned. The Security Guard will monitor access points, ensure security protocols are implemented, and will respond to security incidents.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
Regularly patrol designated areas, monitor surveillance cameras, and observe activities on the property to prevent or identify potential security risks
Verify identification, authorize entry and exit of people and vehicles, while maintaining a log of visitors
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity by investigating, taking appropriate action, and reporting incidents to relevant authorities
Documenting observations, incidents, and suspicious activity in detailed reports
Interact with visitors and employees in a professional manner, provide directions, and address concerns
Enforce security policies and procedures, including access restrictions
Inspect doors, windows, and other security points to ensure they are properly secured
Attend training as needed or assigned
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
One year of previous physical security experience required
Excellent observation skills
The ability to notice details and identify potential threats in surroundings
Strong communication skills
Effective verbal and written communication to interact with individuals, report incidents, and provide clear instructions
Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to situations.
Capability to assess situations quickly and make appropriate decisions under pressure
Maintaining composure in stressful or confrontational situations
Basic computer skills
Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities
SHIFT/SITE:
Monday-Friday / 1st Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm / 111 Business Park Dr., Utica, NY
WAGE DISCLOSURE:
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.
The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.
$16.50 per hour – $20.00 per hour
($34,280 – $41,600 annually)
