Federal Way Patrol Route
Hours: 9:00pm-5:00am
Experience preferred but not required. MUST be reliable and dependable.
Duties:
– Vehicle Patrol Officers are assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
– Vehicle Patrol Officers are to observe conditions on the grounds in remote areas, parking lots and the perimeter of the grounds.
– Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and appropriately.
– Conduct investigations and gather evidence for incidents or crimes that occur on the premises.
– Enforce laws, rules, and regulations to maintain order and prevent criminal activity.
– In a professional manner, must be able to remove trespassers from the premises.
– Provide assistance to the public, including directing traffic and responding to inquiries.
– Write detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken.
– Present a professional image. Carry yourself in a dignified manner and be both courteous and responsive in your dealings with individuals.
Qualifications:
– Must have a valid driver’s license.
– Driving record without any violations within the last 5 years.
– Unarmed Security Guard License or must be able to obtain an Unarmed Security Guard License.
– Must be able to pass a background check.
– High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
– Prior experience in security is highly desirable.
– Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
– Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and other emergency response procedures.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
