Part Time Weekend Security Guard | Pocono Summit Area Jobs in Tannersville, PA at KRE Security
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Package/Mail Screener to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and screening incoming mail and packages to ensure safety and compliance with security protocols. This role plays a key part in maintaining a secure work environment by identifying potential threats and hazards within mail and package deliveries.
Responsibilities:
Inspect all incoming mail and packages for suspicious or hazardous materials.
Follow security procedures to properly report and handle any identified threats.
Sort and distribute mail/packages to appropriate departments.
Maintain logs and records of all incoming and outgoing mail/packages.
Collaborate with security personnel and other departments to ensure the safety of the facility.
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in mailroom operations or security screening preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow security protocols.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Must be able to lift and carry packages up to 50.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $33.17 – $36.32 per hour
