Look no further because we are currently seeking Part-Time Event Security Officers to join our growing USI team in Stamford, CT.
Event Security Officer Responsibilities:
Perform access control duties, including guest screening.
Conduct crowd management to ensure orderly ingress and egress.
Monitor assigned areas for any security breaches or unauthorized activities.
Prevent the unauthorized removal of alcohol from the venue after events.
Provide assistance and support to guests as needed.
Collaborate effectively with other security team members and event staff.
Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies.
Follow all established procedures and protocols to maintain the safety and security of the venue.
Work Hours and Schedules:
Our Venue Space holds various events during the week and weekends:
$20PH (Part-Time / Per Diem)
Weekend & Evening Availability Required
Security Officer Qualifications and Skills
Prior experience in security or a related field is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform required duties.
Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Standing for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions required.
Shift durations are generally 4-6 hours, with occasional longer shifts depending on event schedules.
Successful candidates must be reliable, punctual, and committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Active CT Security License required
Flexible Schedule with Evening & Weekend Availability
