Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a strong presence, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Unarmed Security Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through proactive measures and quick response to incidents.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain constant vigilance over the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, assessing threats and taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular inspections of security systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies or medical incidents.
Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and security breaches for management review.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Experience
Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred; military experience is also a plus.
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is advantageous.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
