Position: PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Duties * You will develop threat assessments for Navy Recruiting Districts (NRD) or Navy Total Acquisition Groups (NTAG) off-installations, facilities, personnel and operations for use in identifying potential threats, critical assets and vulnerabilities. * You will recommend the setting for higher Force Protection measures or conditions, as dictated by the threat environment. * You will identify travel, equipment and training resources needed by NRD/NTAG (Use the “Apply for this Job” box below). prepare requests for approval by the NRD/NTAG or higher authority. * You will coordinate extensively with local law enforcement agencies, NCIS, FBI, DHS and the Joint Terrorism Task Force to ensure agencies understand the unique security needs for the NRD/NTAG. * You will monitor installation of new physical security features to ensure installation conforms to specifications. * You will plan, implement and track the AT training program to ensure all personnel receive all AT training required by DoD and Navy policy and the NRD/NTAG AT program, incident report procedures, emergency action plans, and preplanned responses. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Executing a security program in accordance to federal policies and procedures; 2) Implementing training programs that prevent, deter, detect, or mitigate the effects of threats and attacks; 3) Analyzing information to identify potential security problems; 4) Offering anti-terrorism policy recommendations based on oral/written analyses, decisions, or conclusions of data.
