The Columbus Regional Airport Authority manages John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK), and Bolton Field (TZR). Responsibilities
Respond to alarms and security incidents at the airport.
Investigate unlawful acts and disturbances.
Complete reports and maintain records.
Conduct interviews and fact-finding.
Exercise authority to arrest following applicable laws and regulations.
Patrol airport premises, respond to security breaches.
Assist in security searches, including bomb threats.
Handle traffic incidents and provide VIP security.
Respond to fire, burglary, and other alarms.
Perform related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Current Ohio Peace Officer Certification (OPOTA).
U.S. citizen.
Valid driver’s license.
At least 20 years old at application, 21 at hire.
Pass pre-employment drug screening (no medical marijuana).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field, with 5+ years of benefits and leave admin experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of self-funded/stop-loss insurance markets.
