Position Summary
The Program Security Officer (PSO) will support physical, construction, and personnel security for the U.S. Air Force Weapons School (USAFWS) and related units at various security levels, including TS/SCI and TS/SAR.
Responsibilities
Develop and administer security programs for classified materials and equipment.
Implement federal security regulations applicable to operations.
Coordinate with government agencies for rulings and compliance.
Prepare manuals and procedures for handling, storing, and access control.
Conduct security education, audits, and investigate violations.
Maintain facility accreditation paperwork for SCIF/SAPF areas.
Support construction security, develop security plans, and ensure compliance during facility modifications.
Establish and review policies for secure systems and unit vaults.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of DISS application.
6 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 4 years with a Master’s; or 10 years with a High School diploma or equivalent.
Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Knowledge of industrial security, SCIF operations, access control, and facility accreditation.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience with PKI access, JPAS, and USAF environment.
2 years of active duty, reserve, or guard service.
Experience in secure, controlled environments.
