A Systems Security Engineer is responsible for configuration and remediation of security controls of CEFCU’s Data Center infrastructure to help enhance the Member Experience. Provides technical support escalation from Systems Operations Engineers and IS Security Operations department.
Hours –
Monday – Friday, 8:00-4:30
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in IT Discipline) or 5 Years Equivalent Experience
Operational knowledge of:
Vulnerability scanning software
Patch management software
SIEM software
Network Security Event Management
TCP/IP protocol
LAN/WAN technologies
Windows Active Directory Environment; System Administration
VMWare vSphere
Current Windows Desktop
Experience with troubleshooting hardware/software in a network environment.
Windows Server – All current versions, Linux experience
Microsoft SQL System Administration
Good communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skill
Ability to correspond, collaborate, and communicate with all levels of staff within and outside of IT (i.e., peers, managers, and executives) and external to the organization
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Must be a self-starter and effective working independently and equally comfortable working in a team environment
Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills and pay attention to detail
Must be dependable and flexible and provide excellent customer service

Palo Alto (PCCSA, PCNSA)
CompTIA Security+
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA)
VMware Certified Associate (VCA)
Summary Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $41.34 – $48.58.
Compensation offered may vary based on skills and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
