About the Role
As a Protection & Control Engineer (Night Shift), you will be responsible for monitoring and managing security systems, ensuring a secure environment across our business units. Your role will involve responding to security alarms, overseeing system functionality, and ensuring compliance with security protocols and company policies.
Working in a fast-paced and high-responsibility environment, you will collaborate with various teams, provide real-time monitoring of security operations, and deliver detailed reports to management. Your vigilance and attention to detail will be critical in maintaining a safe and secure workplace.
Responsibilities
Operational Monitoring and Management
Supervise and operate security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion, fire alarms, electronic gates, bag scanners, and vehicle tracking, ensuring all systems function correctly.
Respond immediately to security alarms, providing incident reports and justifications to management.
Conduct daily monitoring of BUs Coordinators and ensure compliance with inspection standards for individuals and vehicles.
Reporting and Compliance
Prepare and submit detailed daily operational reports to Group Protection Managers.
Document and report violations and incidents, escalating them to management when necessary.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry security regulations.
Collaboration and Supervision
Coordinate with other departments on matters related to the protection scope.
Monitor security personnel through CCTV, ensuring they are performing their duties and stationed appropriately.
Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or any related field.
0-3 years in a similar role, preferably help desk
Excellent proficiency in English.
Basic IT knowledge, proficient in MS Office. (Excel)
Availability to work night shifts (11:00 PM to 07:00 AM) with one day off.
Ability to ensure adherence to security protocols and manage the challenges of a night shift environment
