Security Officer
Duties:
– Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
– Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
– Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
– Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
– Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
– Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks.
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed.
Experience:
– Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred.
– Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
– Familiarity with surveillance techniques and equipment.
– Knowledge of CPR and other emergency response procedures is a plus.
– Ability to work in a militarized environment if necessary.
