Trinity Health – 4725 N Federal Highway [Safety Officer] As a Protective Services Specialist at Trinity Health, you’ll:
Initiate and receive communications, via telephone, radio, email or other computer systems;
Communicate verbally, or in writing, promptly, courteously and accurately while maintain poise at all times;
Appropriately refer any problems or issues beyond scope of authority to Security Manager on Duty and the Hospital Manager on duty;
Follow standard procedures and uses personal protective equipment per policy at all times;
Documents in a timely manner all relevant safety and security information;
Patrols the hospital and properties as required;
Take action as required, participating in all emergency codes and requests for assistance;
Able to act independently, managing critical situations that may involve aggressive behavior;
Take action as necessary to ensure the safety of Hospital Associates, patients and visitors;
Assist in moving, lifting or dragging individuals to safety;
Assist in bringing safety equipment to the scene of an emergency or as required;
Assist in restraining individuals as necessary to maintain the safe environment of the hospital;
Assist in restraining individuals as required to prevent those individuals from placing themselves or others in harms way.
