Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when necessary.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detail for reporting purposes.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed for investigations or emergencies.
Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potential disturbances or altercations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security or law enforcement preferred.
Previous experience in loss prevention, surveillance, or military service is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of conflict management techniques and emergency response protocols.
Ability to operate surveillance equipment (CCTV) effectively.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.47 – $20.11 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
