Responsibilities
Performs security services, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual rounds.
Coordinates facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors.
Enforces policies and procedures, ensuring equitable enforcement.
Follows guidelines and monitoring techniques to establish a safe workplace and environment of care.
Collaborates with the Environment of Care committee for a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety.
Participates in employee awareness and education initiatives.
Drives as needed for company business.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Training
Experience in healthcare security or related field preferred.
State Guard Certification Registration Card.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Facility Specific Requirements
State driver’s license upon hire.
Current DMV H6 report or driving history report.
