Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed/Unarmed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Armed/Unarmed Guard will play a crucial role in deterring criminal activity and ensuring the safety of individuals on-site.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential threats or suspicious activities.
Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports of incidents.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques to resolve issues peacefully.
Conduct loss prevention measures to protect property from theft or damage.
Stand for extended period of time.
Skills
Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems.
Certified in First Aid and CPR, with the ability to respond effectively in emergency medical situations.
Background in law enforcement or military service preferred, demonstrating knowledge of security protocols.
Strong conflict management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Experience in loss prevention strategies to minimize risks associated with theft or vandalism.
Excellent observational skills, capable of identifying unusual behavior or potential threats quickly.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents accurately.

Pay: $16.50 – $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
