Public Safety Officer Sr. – FT 2nd Shift – Sinai Med Ctr Jobs in Milwaukee, WI at Advocate Aurora Health

Description

Performs intermediate work providing a variety of community services not requiring licensed police officers in areas including, but not necessarily limited to: traffic / parking, equipment maintenance, the watch property program, crime prevention, transport of personnel or evidence. Performs related work as apparent or assigned.

Essential Functions

Enforces City ordinances and assists peace officers with traffic management at accident scenes and at traffic survey sites.
Assists in the maintenance of department emergency equipment, vehicles/apparatus, and inventory of medical supplies.
Transports personnel and/or evidence as requested, ensuring that safety and security is maintained at all stages of such transports.
Monitors designated properties on the watch list and reports any unusual or suspicious activity to a licensed peace officer.
Assists peace officers and firefighters as directed in setting up and preventative measures intended to help reduce and prevent crime and fire emergencies in the City.
Performs a variety of animal control activities including investigating citizen complaints and enforcing established animal control ordinances.
Assists peace officers in monitoring prisoners in City jail cells.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with moderate work-related experience.
Valid MN Driver’s License.
