Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective conflict management skills, and the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to maintain a secure environment.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide detailed reports on incidents.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
Assist in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Manage conflicts effectively, using de-escalation techniques when required.
Requirements
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is a plus.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background checks as required.
