In this pivotal leadership position, you will be tasked with establishing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees and progressive operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute a thorough safety and security strategy to safeguard our workforce, facilities, and resources.
Perform risk evaluations and proactively address potential threats.
Provide training to team members on safety protocols and ensure adherence to those protocols.
Oversee incident management and guarantee a prompt and effective response during emergencies.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to cultivate a safety-centric culture organization-wide.
Remain informed about contemporary safety and security trends and methodologies.
Required Skills
Over 10 years of experience in safety and security management.
At least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
Exceptional communication and training skills, capable of fostering trust and connection with colleagues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, maintaining composure under pressure.
Self-driven and proactive team contributor.
Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the safety and security domain, with a background in regulated sectors.
Possession of safety and security certifications (CSP, CPP) is advantageous.
Experience in the cannabis or agricultural sectors is a plus.
