Job Purpose:
We are currently supporting the recruitment for Residential Security Officers to join a Estate/Country house set in a beautiful location in Ballynatray.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering best in class residential security provision to a private Family estate
Overseeing the protection of the Principal Family, their property and the wider Estate employees: 24/7
Managing control room activities including monitoring technical security systems such as video management systems and alarms
Delivering a discreet, confidential and unobtrusive service
Proactive patrolling and security checks, both mobile and on foot
Coordination of the security and medical reaction to incidents across the Estate
Compiling of Estate reports to reflect security matters
Coordination of any evacuation in the event of a fire or other emergency
Securing the Estate and ensuring access control is maintained throughout
Conducting emergency planning and coordination exercises
Reaction to and management of medical incidents
Managing the delivery of items on/off the Estate securely and with professionalism
Engage with security specific contractors to maintain all technical equipment
Ensuring Estate staff maintain necessary security protocols
Ensure that you comply with all Estate’s policies and procedures, including H&S
Delivering event security and guest reception as required by the Estate
Anticipating the needs of the Principal, the Estate employees and plan/act accordingly
Upholding and maintaining Estate values; ensuring that you understand, always embrace and keep focused on the principles and priorities of the Estate
Developing and maintaining positive and professional working relationships across the Estate
Undergoing development and training where necessary such as annual refresher training and upskilling with new technologies and procedures
Promoting best working practices and ensuring all safe systems of work are followed by all, and reporting incidents/near misses
Any other ad hoc duties
Requirements
Experience working in a Residential Security role (role similar to that outlined above) or demonstrate transferable skills
Appropriate PSA license (essential)
First Aid Certificate (highly desirable)
A full, clean driving license
Willingness to undergo background vetting including criminal records checks and enhanced vetting
Customer focused nature, because interaction with various stakeholders will be required (highly desirable)
Computer literate with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Outlook & SharePoint
Experience using technical security systems (highly desirable)
The capability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
Effective and positive communications skills, both written and verbal
