260 Sample Sale is a New York based family owned & operated business running weekly sample sale events in NYC, LA, Miami, CHI and Online!Our private & public events include top brands in apparel, accessories and beauty, including: Marc Jacobs, Aquazurra, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Oscar de la Renta, SoulCycle, Reformation, J Crew, NEST Fragrances, & more!
What’s you Role:
As a Retail Loss Prevention Guard, you will prevent loss of inventory by interacting with customers and staff while providing a visible authority throughout the store at all times. You are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of our customers and employees. You are the customer’s first and last point of contact. We strive for a responsive and professional individual to join the team at 260 Sample Sale!
What to Expect:
· Provide and sustain crowd control and line management
· Monitoring loss prevention
· Observe and report any safety/security concern to management
· Maintaining a safe environment for guests and associates
· Ability to answer general concerns or questions
· Remain calm in high-pressure situations
· Punctual and formal dress code (Button down shirt and suit jacket)
· Greet and engage customers in a timely, professional and personable manner and respond to customers’ needs
· Demonstrate accountability and professionalism when addressing a situation
· Maintain a consistent, reliable and flexible schedule based on business needs
Key Requirements
· 1+ yr retail security experience
· Timely decision making skills that keep the organization safe
· Weekend availability
· Ability to stand 8-10 hours in one shift
· High school graduate or the equivalent
· Valid Security License
· Ability to lift 50+ pounds when necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
10 hour shift
Weekends as needed
