Summary
We are seeking a Door Person to join our team at The Swiss Restaurant in Santa Maria. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and maintaining a safe environment while contributing to the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
Greet guests and card them as they arrive and collect cover charge.
Monitor the entrance area to ensure safety and security for all patrons and staff.
Manage guest flow during busy periods to maintain an organized environment.
Assist with conflict resolution and provide support in managing any disturbances.
Conduct regular checks of the premises to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with restaurant staff to enhance guest experience and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
