Safety Manager
Duties:
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
Provide safety training and education programs for employees to promote a culture of safety awareness
Maintain safety records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with management and department heads to develop and implement safety initiatives
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role
Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations
Experience conducting safety inspections and audits
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively train employees on safety procedures
Proficient in the use of CCTV systems for loss prevention purposes
