A high-end, midsized, plaintiff-side boutique law firm seeks to hire for its midtown Manhattan office (four days expected in office per week) a midlevel litigation associate for a role focused mainly on securities class action litigation, as well as some derivative litigation and other matters. The work would mainly focus on research and motion drafting, and over time it can move into other areas such as depositions. Base salary is likely $120,000-180,000 (depending on background/experience), plus a discretionary bonus (likely $10,000-20,000); there is significant compensation upside over time. I have good ties with this firm and have placed seven attorneys there.
