Seeking full-time security officers for a downtown construction location.
Thur, Fri, Sat and Sunday-
Friday, Sat and Sunday nights – 6pm to 5am.
The hours may change slightly.
This is for security for overnights at a construction site. We are looking for security officers that have experience in working on a construction site overnight. Be open to the hours changing slightly as the weather gets hot or colder for the crew start times.
Some of the duties included but not all.
Patrol the ground level inside the fenced areas.
Do not let anyone on site overnight.
Watch for fires or other emergencies.
Report all pipe leaks, issues as needed.
Keep vagrants/homeless people off site and away from the construction areas and their closed sidewalk areas.
Watch for theft, vandals, unauthorized people.
Be able to use silvertrac for reporting and incident reports.
Work mostly alone or the whole shift without much supervision.
Call 911 as needed or call police, fire or ambulance.
Answer the phone as calls may come in overnight.
Be detailed, aware, and alert at all times.
Walking for patrols, outside on shifts.
Must wear hardhat, safety vest at all times while on site on duty.
