The Ramada by Wyndham – Las Cruces Hotel & Convention Center is a beautiful 113 room full-service Spanish-inspired hotel featuring an onsite restaurant and is managed by DePalma Hotels & Resorts. The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to the Las Cruces Convention Center.
A cigar shop, art shop, salon, airport shuttle, business center, fitness center are all on site. The Sabor Restaurant, featuring Mexican cuisine, evening lounge and room service is available.

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Hotel Night Auditor / Relief Security Guard to join our exceptional team at a competitive pay rate starting at $13.75/HR for Night Auditor and $15.00/HR when working Security Guard shifts plus benefits (401k, PTO, Vacation, Holiday and Health Insurance) for Full-Time associates.

Position Summary
The Night Auditor / Relief Security Guard is a dual-role position responsible for managing the overnight front desk operations, completing daily audit processes, and ensuring guest safety and property security during the night hours. This individual must maintain a professional and welcoming environment while multitasking between administrative, guest service, and security-related duties.
Key Responsibilities
Night Auditor Duties
Greet guests with a warm and professional attitude during check-in and check-out processes.
Balance and audit all daily hotel financial transactions and prepare necessary reports.
Reconcile front desk cash drawer, credit card transactions, and room charges.
Ensure accuracy of all guest folios and correct any discrepancies.
Set up the next day’s front desk operations including reports, keys, and materials.
Assist guests with late-night needs and requests, including wake-up calls and local information.
Communicate effectively with morning shift team members on important overnight events.
Relief Security Duties
Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of the property to ensure guest and staff safety.
Monitor surveillance equipment and hotel access points during overnight hours.
Respond to disturbances, alarms, or incidents in a timely and calm manner.
Enforce hotel rules and policies regarding noise, unauthorized guests, and restricted areas.
Document and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security concerns.
Assist with emergency procedures such as fire alarms, evacuations, or medical incidents.
Provide assistance to guests and staff in distress or requiring security support.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or hospitality training is a plus.
Prior experience in front desk, auditing, or hotel operations preferred.
Prior security, safety, or law enforcement background is desirable.
Must be proficient in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure or in emergencies.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Must be able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
