Position Overview
This role is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of all guests, staff, and assets at Hershey Lodge. As a part-time team member, you will perform various security duties to ensure a safe environment.
Job Responsibilities
Patrol the property and document rounds.*
Investigate accidents and incidents, submitting detailed reports.*
Respond to emergencies such as fires or other situations.*
Handle complaints and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.*
Manage locking systems and implement safety improvements.*
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
Post-employment: obtain RAMP certification.
Ability to obtain and maintain criminal background checks as per Pennsylvania law.
Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in criminal justice, safety, or security fields.
Knowledge of relevant laws, fire, and safety regulations.
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills.
Professional appearance reflecting the property’s image.
Physical and Schedule Requirements
Physical activities include walking (up to 75%), hearing, bending, lifting, and dexterity.
Shift hours vary; includes day, evening, or overnight shifts.
Availability on holidays and weekends is required.
