Responsibilities
As part of the Department, you will be responsible for the safety and well-being of all members, guests, employees, and contractors at The Belle Meade Country Club
You will be responsible for deterring, detecting, and responding to potential and/or active threats directed at BMCC members, guests, employees, contractors, and property
As part of the Department, you must be prepared to act accordingly within the guidelines set forth by the Belle Meade Country Club Safety & Security Department policies
Able to perform an advanced level protection services for members, guest, employees, and contractors while assigned to a designated post at Belle Meade Country Club
Provide superior customer service within the standards of the Department
Respond to emergency situations and provide the appropriate level of first aid
Conduct proficiency and development training as set forth by management
Provide access-control utilizing sound judgment and company provided tools such as access control systems or access control lists and logs
Detect, investigate, and deny access to unauthorized persons
Recognize and escalate to management all safety hazards and security vulnerabilities detected through the course of shift
May be required to work outside of regular work hours at short notice. Part Time shifts may be subject to change with proper notification.
Work is normally performed inside and outside in all weather conditions
Qualifications
· Maintain valid Tennessee Unarmed Guard License with Dallas Law training and valid CPR & First Aid certificates
· Maintain acceptable level of mental and physical fitness
· Prior experience in Security (2 years minimum), Law Enforcement, or Military preferred.
· Valid Tennessee Driver’s License
· Clear Criminal Background
· High school diploma, GED, or higher education
· Have the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high duress situations
· Must be able to work and stand inside/outside during all weather conditions
· Able to physically restrain individuals when the condition to detain exists
· Prior experience with CCTV, vendor management and access control hardware and software systems
· Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, along with a working knowledge of basic computer functions and programs (Word, Excel, Outlook Email, etc.)
Part Time shift
Shifts: Wednesday 12:00 PM to 8 PM, Saturday 4 PM to Midnight, Sunday 4PM to Midnight
Additional shifts as needed due to department events.
