As a Security Officer in the Retail Division, you will be essential in maintaining a safe shopping environment for customers and staff. Reporting to the Security Manager, your core skills in security and conflict management will be vital in addressing potential threats. You will utilize your premium skills in first aid, loss prevention and surveillance to effectively respond to incidents. Additionally, your relevant experience with CCTV and loss prevention will enhance the overall security operations. With a security license and strong communication skills, you will contribute significantly to the safety and security of the retail space.
Active unarmed security guard license holders are preferred.
Several FULL-TIME schedules are available between the hours of 6 am and 10 pm.
Qualifications:
– Unarmed security licenses are a plus!
– Strong observational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
– Excellent interpersonal communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to remain calm and composed to deescalate high-pressure situations.
– Must possess a working smart phone and have the ability to use smart apps.
– Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time.
Starting wage is $22 – 23 per hour. Pay is bi-weekly.
Responsibilities
Monitor and provide a visible presence to prevent theft and help ensure safety.
Utilize CCTV systems for surveillance and loss prevention.
Manage conflict situations with effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
Collaborate with law enforcement as needed and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Uphold all security policies and procedures to protect staff and customers.

Pay: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour
