Are you passionate about safety, inclusion, and community? Personal Protective Concepts (PPC) is hiring Onsite Safety Coordinators for a popular café in New York City to help create a secure, welcoming, and inclusive environment for staff and customers.
What You’ll Do:
Ensure a safe and respectful space for all patrons and staff, especially in an LGBTQ+ friendly environment
Monitor and manage access control (checking IDs when needed)
Assist with de-escalation and conflict resolution professionally
Conduct safety walkthroughs and report concerns proactively
Serve as the point of contact for any safety-related matters
Support emergency response procedures if necessary
What We’re Looking For:
LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive mindset—we prioritize creating a welcoming space for all
Military veterans preferred (not required)
Background in safety, hospitality, customer service, or security is a plus
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Professional, calm, and customer-friendly demeanor
NYS Security Guard card is a plus but not required
