Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor premises, enforce security policies, and respond to incidents as they arise.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as needed.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for future reference.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required during emergencies or investigations.
Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential issues effectively.
Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing theft or vandalism risks.
Requirements
Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring equipment is an advantage.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
Must possess a valid 20-hour security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
Active PERC card.
Driver’s License Required.
