Platinum Group Security is looking to expand our team in the Parkland Area!!! We are looking for seasoned armed security officers with exceptional customer service skills. We are looking to place these guards at one of our many armed properties to patrol the exterior of the building and deter, and most importantly report any activity.
Job Brief:
We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior.
Officers are asked to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions.
The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.
Pay Rate: $20.00/HR
Roles and Responsibilities:
Gatehouse:
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter.
Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
Requirements:
Have a valid Security D License
Have a valid Security G License
Have your own Firearm and Holster
Have a valid Driver’s License
Have strong customer service skills
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
Surveillance skills and detail orientation
Integrity and professionalism
The physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time.
